Missing fridge scam

You’ve been living in Pattaya for months now, love the place and desperately want to stay here forever and a day.

Also your girlfriend you met almost two months ago is just so adoring, she’s a real cutey.
Only two weeks ago you found a house to rent together. Together - you pay the rent and she will be only too pleased to stay in the house together with you. You don't want her missing you, now do you?

You had a wonderful time shopping with the love of your life. Bought all those things you need to turn a house into a home, a TV, DVD player, music center, washing machine – you wouldn’t want your darling to have to wash all your clothes by hand would you? Oh yes, and a new fridge.

Your relationship with your girlfriend is sometimes a little difficult, arguments about the smallest thing sometimes. Never mind, all part of life’s rich pageant. Everyone has ups and downs in their love life.

Two more months pass and you have to do a visa run, staying overnight makes the hassle slightly easier. Pity about another argument you had just before leaving, your girlfriend’s mother had been staying so that didn’t add to the harmony.

Two days later. Arriving back at your house you’re desperate for a cold beer from the fridge. Girlfriend is still not talking to you in a reasonable fashion.
Go into the kitchen.
Where the hell is the fridge?
“What’s happened to the fridge honey? Where has it gone?” you ask.
“I give to Mama, she not have fridge”
“What the hell about me? Now I don’t have a fridge”
The reply: "You ferang, you go buy new fxxxing fridge”
